Tazmanian Boxers began 14 years ago when I bought my very own first Boxer.  Growing up we
had Boxers, but this was the first of my own.  I named this little brindle bitch Tazz and began what
is now Tazmanian Boxers.

I wanted to breed my little Tazz when the time came, but after just a little research I learned that I
had a lot to learn. Being the perfectionist that I try to be, I set out on a journey to learn all I could
about Boxers, breeding, health problems, AKC standard, and general care. I have learned a
great deal by joining the Tarheel Boxer Club and from fellow Boxer enthusiasts. I am currently in
the application process of joining the Georgia Boxer Club where I expect to continue learning.
There really is no end to learning when it comes to breeding and showing. Everything is a
learning experience one way or another -- good or bad.

I look forward to each litter to be better looking and healthier than the last.

In November 2003, our sweet Tazz went to heaven. Ashley is retired and living fat and happy with
my parents in Charlotte. I live with Tazz's granddaughter, (Ashley's daughter) Cherie, who
received her championship title in April 2004, and Jacob whom I purchased from Damas Boxers
in 2004. Jacob finished his championship title in August 2005 -- only 5 short months after he
started showing. Both championship titles were obtained by my handler (and friend) Nikki
Conneen, who I cannot say enough about. Jacob was "specialed" at the end of 2006 and won
Best of Breed three times under Nikki's outstanding care, and Damas' (Malena's) loving support

During the above time, two puppies from the D-Litter have been shown with great success.
Freddy finished his title and is now CH JuBar's Reddy Freddy of Taz and has even produced a
promising puppy J.R, who is well on his way to his Championship title. Also from that D-Litter, I
co-own a dog with Rahsaan Turpin, who finished his Championship title April 2007. CH Bishop
was shown by Barry and Judy Hendley of JuBar Boxers, and also by Jack Brown. Bishop finished
his very successful first 14 points in only about 3 months picking up his final single a month or so
later. Way to go Bishop, Rahsaan, Barry and Judy.- and Jack and Bridgette Brown. To see about
Bishop's future go to his page above.
