June 14, 1998, Sunday - Tazz is definately in
labor. It could be anytime. She's breathing very
heavily.

June 15, 1998, Monday - Tazz held out until
today! She had her first puppy at 4:52 a.m. It
was a flashy fawn female, Ashley.
6:18 a.m. - Fawn with black mask, named Lola
6:43 a.m. - Flashy fawn male, Armagedeon
(Roscoe).
7:36 a.m. - Flashy brindle male, Augusta.

All the puppies look great and healthy. Tazz
has eaten her egg mix that I always give after
birth.

June 16, 1998, Tuesday - I woke up hearing a
puppy crying about 3:45 a.m. I checked to see
that Tazz hadn't laid down on a pup, and I
picked up a wet puppy assuming Tazz had
urinated on it since she hates to leave them. I
rubbed it somewhat dry and looked down to
do a count. There was already four pups in the
box. I had to shake my head and look again,
One, two, three, four, in my hand ... five! Oh
my, I couldn't believe she had another puppy! I
inspected the puppy. It was a flashy fawn male.
He was in great shape. At further notice
however, the puppy had a hairlip/cleft palate. I
had not experienced this before, but knew that
the puppy would have to be put down.

6:19 a.m. Tazz whelped yet another puppy. It
was a semi flashy fawn female. She was
extremely healthy and showed no signs of
distress or problems.

I took Tazz and the puppies to the vet to be
sure all the puppies had been born. They
x-rayed Tazz and assured me there was
nothing else in there. Whew. They also
checked out the two new ones, agreed that the
boy had a cleft palate and would have to be
put down while the female puppy was just fine.

July 5, 1998  - Today the puppies are three
weeks. I began to feed them rice cereal mixed
with water in a flat pan. What a mess! In a few
days I will add some can puppy food, and they
will go to town on it then!

July 13, 1998 - The puppies are 4 weeks and
they go to the vet to be checked out and to be
de-wormed. I have noticed that the puppies
have lost hair in some spots. The vet did
cultures on these and checked them for
ringworm, but all this came out negative. We
put the puppies on an antibiotic

July 19, 1998 - After much debate, I've
decided I will let go of only two of these
puppies. Augie, the brindle male, and Lola, the
classic fawn female.

July 23, 1998 - The puppies are almost six
weeks. They were given their first set of
booster shots. They all were fine. I placed Lola
with Terry Hunt. Terry works at a veternarian
and I feel this will be a great fit for her and her
family.

August 17, 1998 - I placed Augie with Colleen
and Bob Bissonnette from Deerfield Beach,
Florida.

Ashley has her own page here. She is
the Dam of the B-Litter, C-Litter, and
the D-Litter. Currently, she has
produced two Champions with another
on the way. Go to Ashley's page to
read more about her.
Lola lives with the Hunt's in Lincolnton,
NC. I will place a picture when I
receive them!
Tazmanianian's Armageddon was
originally supposed to be a show dog
for myself. As you can see he would
have been a wonderful specimen in
the ring. Unfortunately because of my
divorce, I placed him with a wonderful
couple in Long Island, North Carolina
where he now lives with another K9
friend on a lake with lots of room to
roam and lots of love.
Augie lives in Florida with the
Bissonnettes.

Tazmanian's PRO Arch Angel
Angel had an unfortunate future. I kept
her for myself to show which we did,
but she was not suited for the ring. As
she grew older, she became unusally
aggressive towards the other dogs
and towards people. At 18 months after
many tears and talks with my vet, we
decided to put her down.
