07/28/2005, Thursday - We are waiting for
Cherie to whelp. She has been coming to
work with me every day, but I still don't see any
heavy panting. There are at least 5 babies in
there based on the x-ray I took Wednesday
and they said she's doing well otherwise.

07/29/2005, Friday - Cherie has begun labor
breathing. This will be the last posting on the
website until Monday, so I'll keep in touch by
email.

07/30/2005, Saturday - I took Cherie to the vet
just to be on the safe side where she was
given a shot of oxytocin. She then had two
puppies and I took her home to have the other
three. Unfortunately, there were 4 whites and
one fawn girl!

08/02/2005,Tuesday - I took the puppies to
have their tails cut and dew claws removed.
Cherie is doing well and taking care of the
puppies as she should.

08/08/2005, Monday - The mom and puppies
are doing very well. I have pictures of them
below. So sweet. They are fat and healthy!
They are receiving so much milk from mom
that they are refusing any supplement from me.

08/15/2005, Monday - The pups are now over
two weeks. They have more than doubled in
weight and are huge. Their eyes have opened
and some of them can wobble around. Cherie
has become a better mother over this time
and really impressed me.

08/22/2005, Monday - The puppies are now
over three weeks old. They were started on
rice cereal mixed with water and can puppy
food. They gobbled it all right up. All the
puppies are tipping the scales over 3 lbs!
Over the weekend Tazmanian Ezra was
placed. We do still have available the all white
girl pictured below. I should have updated
pictures later this week. Check out the funny
names we've chosen that are over the puppy!
Hey, we've got do something constructive
during the day ... right?

09/02/2005 - The puppies will be FIVE weeks
old tomorrow. There are now new pictures
taken over the last week. I hope you enjoy.
Please remember, I still have a white girl that
needs to be placed! All are eating well and
playing with each other.

09/28/2005 - All but Lima Bean have been
placed and sent to their new homes. Lima
Bean we have found, is deaf and will only be
placed in a home with other dogs.

11/101/2005 - Lima Bean has been placed.
She has been renamed Faith (I'll call her Lima
Faith!) She is travelling up to upper New York
where she will have FOUR other boxers to play
with!

12/2006 - IMPORTANT HEALTH UPDATE;
as this litter grew older, the white females are
being treated for a liver enzyme dysfunction. It
is IMPERATIVE that when you take your dogs
from this litter to have blood drawn for
heartworm that they also check their liver
enzymes. If they are high, please get in contact
with me. Both parents of the white girls have
really been successful at treatment for this
problem and would certainly help bring any
relief to you.

Tazmanian Ezra - "Lakoda" is a very
vibrant girl. She has beautiful ears that
are standing beautifully. She lives in
Fayetteville with the McDaniel's. She is
pampered and loved. This picture
above really shows how much she
looks like her mother, Cherie! WOW!
Jasmine and Savannah have made
their presence known in the great
state of New Hampshire. They live
with the Karases and another Boxer
friend, Lacy. Yes, they're Boxers not
hunters, but what a great shot Brian
took to get this picture!
Amos lives happily with his human
friend's the McGinnis'. He has
another K9 friend Bosley to keep him
company. He's a good boy and loved
by his human grandma. They all
reside in Charlotte, NC. Picture from

Faith has found love in a Boxer-rich
environment. She is the 5th Boxer in
the Wood family. Faith is way, way up
in northern New York near the
Adirondacks! Faith doesn't know that
she's deaf, and check out those
BEAUTIFUL BROWN EYES! Picture
